The Institute for Peace and Security Studies (IPSS) of the Addis Ababa University (AAU), in collaboration with the Africa Programme of the University for Peace (UPEACE), has an ongoing research project on the use of traditional knowledge and coping mechanisms among pastoralists of the Horn of Africa (HoA) to adapt to the impacts of climate change.
New Commonwealth scholarships

For Master’s degree study in Kenya, Mauritius, Tanzania, and the South Pacific. A three-month Commonwealth Fellowship at the University of Ibadan in Nigeria is also available and two Commonwealth Scholarships for PhD and postdoctoral study are currently available at the University of Pretoria, in South Africa.
